Sew Happy

This is my elusive sewing machine..it comes out of hiding about once a year, we are not usually on good terms
but today it decided to behave (or I had more confidence with it).

This is what I sewed..what is it?

A Q-snap cover! I used this tutorial, it was so easy to follow I made two of them.
Now to spend the rest of this cold rainy day stitching. :-)

QS Grumpy Red Fairy Progress

It's a rainy cold day so I may get to stitch more of this today. I've been busy on some smaller projects for swaps which i'll post when they are received. Oh yeah its also grand final day in the NRL....so heres hoping your team wins..Cheers!

Halloween Magnet Swap

Received a nice package in the mail yesterday from Lucinda for the Halloween magnet swap on face book. Will post a pic of the one I made for her when she receives it. :-)

Star Stuck

Both my children performed in Starstuck this year, the above picture is my daughter which appeared in several local papers. She was Juliet from Gnomeo and Juliet, her costume looked so good and was kindly put together and supplied by my mothers friend...as a small thankyou I stitched her a card with the breed of dog she owns, it looks alot like her dog I hope she likes it :)

Oriental Fans

This is my favorite finish so far...I adapted the chart a little. The photo doesn't do it justice with all its pretty colors its a finish that doesn't  fail to make me smile whenever I look at it.

Christmas Ornament Swap

My first swap through facebook cross stitch swap group. This one I did was happily received by a lady in Canada. Sadly I'm yet to receive one myself.
